It would be awesome to have some sort of training manual to refer to help those new to process mapping understand the various symbols but considering how cost effective it is, that's really a non-issue. It took a little bit to understand how to work the tools and formatting but once you get the hang of it, the software is pretty easy to use. There are other software out there that accomplish this function but Lucidchart is really cost effective for educational institutions and meet the need very well. I love how easy it is to create flow charts, workflows, and diagrams in various formats. In the past, I have used another well known software that is basically an industry standard for process improvement so I wasn't sure if this would meet my needs in terms of mapping out our processes but it has far exceeded my expectations.
